[802.3_4PPOE] 4PID ad hoc meeting notes - unapproved (PLEASE READ EVEN IF YOU WEREN'T INVOLVED IN 4PID)

Attached are unapproved meeting notes from the 4PID ad hoc.  Please review these, especially for your attendance, and send any additions, corrections, or objections to me.

 

If you did not attend the ad hoc, you may wish to review the general discussion at the end, because one of today’s outcomes is that the ad hoc’s work involves discussion of the larger issue of whether 4 pair PSEs will be required to provide 2 pair power.    This issue is planned for discussion at our next meeting, Tuesday, October 21, and we expect to take a straw poll.
