[802.3_4PPOE] IEEE P802.3bt DTE Power via MDI over 4-Pair initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3bt DTE Power via MDI over 4-Pair closed successfully on 27th August 2016. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The September 2016 IEEE P802.3bt Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 542 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3bt Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

  22 Disapprove 

  22 Abstain

129 Ballots returned

60.85% Response Rate (> 50% required)

17.05% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)

79.44% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
