Yair and George, thank you for digging out the place where we forgot to put schindler_02_0916.pdf. We should have called the presentation out in the resolution to comment 210.

That resolution was: Adopt items 2 and 5 from the proposed remedy in Darshan_12_0916Rev003a.pdf If you are referring to something else, please let us know. George A. We agree to adopt
schindler_02_0916.pdf. In addition, based on Fred presentation, in my presentation darshan_12_0916.pdf that was dealing with the same subject, we agree to adopt part of the items that Fred’s presentation
didn’t. So it is perfectly OK
to incorporate schindler_02_0916.pdf into D2.1 as we should have added this to the comment database. Yair

EXTERNAL EMAIL All, during his draft revision, Lennart found that we forgot to include schindler_02_0916.pdf in the comment database. I have reviewed the minutes and found that
Fred presented the slides and then we moved into comment resolution. Fred also has notes that Geoff objected to making a motion to incorporate and that it had to be in the comment database – and I recall this exchange in the meeting. So we found a comment
to tie it to – and then forgot to put the filename in the comment. I have reviewed the presentation again, it is non-controversial but stuff that definitely needs done. To say the least, we messed up in Fort Worth. In the interest
of preventing new comments I am instructing Lennart to incorporate schindler_02_0916.pdf into D2.1 as we should have added this to the comment database. If anyone has a problem with this, please speak up ASAP. The deadline to publish D2.1 looms. Chad Jones Tech Lead, Cisco Systems Chair, IEEE P802.3bt 4PPoE Task Force |
