Re: [802.3_B10GAUTO] FW: [STDS-802-3] IEEE-SA Standards Board has approvals

Steve,

Thanks for sharing the good news!

Just when we thought we were finished, it's time to start all over again, but now at warp speed!

Colleagues,

Please see the message from Mr. Law below. I am pleased to say that we are now the P802.3cy Task Force and can begin our work on our draft standard. We will be scheduling interim teleconference shortly.

I'd like to thank David, Law, George Zimmerman, and Bob Grow for helping the IEEE EC find a way to advance our IEEE 802.3 PARs through the process during this disruptive time. We are awaiting guidance from the IEEE EC on how they want the July virtual plenary conducted. Once we have, that, I'll update you on a meeting schedule.  Our Study Group website will be archived and a new P802.3cy Task Force website will be created.

Finally, my congratulations to the three other new IEEE 802.3 Task Forces and I wish them the best moving forward.

Best regards,

Steve
