That does seem like a very neat way of solving the problem. I assume we will be also submitting an MR against Clause 149 to make a similar change there?

I will take note of this proposed change in the response to the comment #340, marking it accordingly. We will discuss this comment again during the next week's call.

Regarding comment 340, after discussing with George and Alejandro, my suggestion is to replace “(936,846,2^10)” with “(936,846) over GF(2^10)”.

 

The rational for this suggestion include the following:

  1. This is the only place in the draft that we use triplet instead of doublet, like we use in the rest of the draft
  2. The triplet notation can be ambiguous, because we have seen more than one different interpretations for the triplet notation
