DESCRIPTION;LANGUAGE=en-US:Dear Colleagues\,\n\nIn September’s 802.3 Beyo
nd 10K Study group’s discussions the topic of adding a 100 Gb/s data rat
e to the study group’s scope came up. Since 100Gb/s is currently out of
scope for that study group\, it would be necessary to have a call for int
erest to have it included in a study group discussion. Based on the discu
ssion and the positive straw poll\, a CFI is planned for November.\n\nA se
ries of prep and consensus building calls will be held on:\nWed Oct 11th @
8-9 PT\nWed Oct 25th @ 8-9PT\nWed Nov 1st @ 8-9 PT\n\nThe purpose of the
calls will be to walk through the draft presentation ahead of the CFI meet
ing @ November’s Plenary to gather feedback (and hopefully supporters).\
n\nIf you have any questions or would like to get involved in the preparat
ion of the presentation\, please contact myself or Matt Traverso.\n\nRegar
