All Sorry one more thing – very stressful Friday before our first f2F meeting in 2.5 years – Regarding the contribution –
Regards, John D’Ambrosia From: jdambrosia@xxxxxxxxx <jdambrosia@xxxxxxxxx> All, My apologies – Matt and I worked very hard to get the language below correct. I forgot to add that the contribution is in the private area of P802.3df - https://www.ieee802.org/3/df/private/index.html I provided the password info at the June meeting, and will do so again at the opening plenary and our meeting. Regards, John D’Ambrosia From: jdambrosia@xxxxxxxxx <jdambrosia@xxxxxxxxx> All The Editorial Team has developed a contribution for Draft 0.1 for IEEE P802.3df. As a contribution, it does not have any standing and is not a Task Force approved document at this time. This contributed draft focuses on on all of the 100 Gb/s per lane program made to date as discussed in https://www.ieee802.org/3/df/public/22_05/22_0517/dambrosia_3df_01_220517.pdf, The contributed draft targets only 400 Gb/s and 800 Gb/s Ethernet objectives based on 100 Gb/s per lane, and includes some details that the Task Force has not yet formally adopted, but appear to have strong consensus based on straw polls. It is anticipated that these details will be considered in the July meeting for formal adoption. As part of his chief editor's report, Matt Brown will review the document and will identify missing areas to move us towards D1.0 and a technically complete draft.
