All,

Last week we received a liaison from the OIF regarding 800LR/800ZR IA Project updates.

The liaison and attachment (802.3 Private Area – Password protected) have been posted - https://www.ieee802.org/3/minutes/jan25/index.html.

Individuals not having the password to the 802.3 Private Area are directed to David Law, 802.3 WG Chair.

I have spoken with Mark Nowell, Logic Track Chair, and asked him and the Optical Track to consider this liaison and to plan on preparing a proposed response at the Jan 2025 Interim.  Individuals interested in providing any input should contact Mark.
