[802.3_EFMP] REMINDER: Electronic Interim Meeting of IEEE 802.3 EFMP Study Group, 28May2026

Colleagues,

Tomorrow the EFMP (FMP Ethernet Interoperability) Study Group meets in an electronic interim format using the Webex collaboration tool. Subscribers to the EFMP reflector have received the meeting invitation. It may also be found on the IEEE 802.3 Call and Meeting Calendar, https://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html.

Study group goals for tomorrow’s meeting are to review, edit, and approve the draft PAR and draft CSD responses. As discussed in the IEEE 802.3 Hybrid Interim meeting in Munich on 13May2026, the study group would like to bring these documents to the IEEE 802.3 Working Group at the July 2026 IEEE 802.3 Plenary meeting. The study group would like the Working Group to approve these documents and progress this project to a Task Force.

Should the Study Group not complete its work in tomorrow’s meeting, I have scheduled a contingent electronic interim meeting for 09Jun2026 to permit the study group time to achieve our goals. If the study group is successful in tomorrow’s meeting, I will cancel the contingent interim scheduled for 09Jun2026.
