IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Powering Cabling Restrictions Study Group

With the approval of the IEEE P802.3dp PAR on 27 March 2025, the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Powering Cabling Restrictions Study Group has completed its charter and transitioned to the IEEE P802.3dp Cabling Restrictions for Single Pair Power over Ethernet Task Force.
The IEEE P802.3dp Task Force home page is http://www.ieee802.org/3/dp/.

The IEEE 802 LMSC Executive Committee has chartered a Study Group under the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Working Group to develop a Project Authorization Request (PAR) and Criteria for Standards Development (CSD) responses for "clarification on the cabling requirements for Ethernet powering".
