[802.3_ISAAC] [802.3dm Link segment and noise models Ad Hoc] on using aged cable for the limit line

Hi All,

Today, in  802.3dm Link segment and noise models Ad Hoc,  there were some discussions about using new or aged cable as a reference for the limit line for 802.3dm. After the meeting, I double-checked the presentations for 802.3ch as a reference. The limit line in 802.3ch was for the aged cable and various temperatures.

Here are some sample presentations from the 802.3ch standard

I believe these were the basis for the adopted insertion and return  loss in 802.3ch.
