[802.3_ISAAC] Questions on new TDD PHY Control State Diagram presentation

Hi Ching-Yen, Frank, and Wei,

 

I have a question regarding your presentation:

In the “Updated TDD PHY Control State Diagram” on slide 4, the transition criteria out of the COUNTDOWN0 and COUNTDOWN1 states are given as

config = (MASTER * loc_countdown0_down) + (SLAVE * rem_countdown0_down)

 

This text does not appear to be consistent with the conventional use of the “config” variable, including the transition criteria out of the SILENT state. I assume that the criteria are meant to be

((config=MASTER) * loc_countdown0_down) + ((config=SLAVE) * rem_countdown0_down)

 

Can you please confirm that my understanding is correct?

 

I also wonder if “loc_countdown0_down” should be named “loc_countdown0_done”, for consistency with other variables like “minwait_timer_done”.
