Dear P802.3cx ITSA participants,
Those of you who attended last week’s
virtual meeting saw Richard Tse present the very helpful
spreadsheet tool that he had created. The spreadsheet
illustrates the lane distribution issues, including what
happens when transmitters and receivers are implemented with
different potential options. For some reason I was unable
to upload the spreadsheet, and the link to the “Multilane
Timestamp Error Analysis Spreadsheet” just pointed to a pdf
file illustrating one option. Consequently, I had
subsequently emailed to all the meeting attendees. The full
Excel spreadsheet is now available on the May meeting site,
embedded within a zip file:
http://www.ieee802.org/3/cx/public/may20/tse_multilane_TE_analysis.zip
You will find this very informative and useful.
Best regards,
Steve Gorshe
