Dear Colleagues, Thank you all for a successful meeting this week in Norfolk! This week we passed three motions advancing the state of our baseline with a layering architecture, max delay constraint value, and a new RS-FEC to protect the bits which are not covering by the LPDC in 10GBASE-T. The editorial team will begin work on the draft for review at the next meeting. I am looking forward to continued progress in the meantime through our two ad hocs. The P802.3bq May meeting page has been updated with the unapproved minutes and the final presentations. http://www.ieee802.org/3/bq/public/may14/index.html Many thanks, David Chalupsky, Chair, IEEE P802.3bq 40GBASE-T Task Force |
