[802.3_NGBASET] "Next Generation Enterprise Access BASE-T" and "25GBASE-T" Study Groups approved

Dear Colleagues,

The IEEE 802 Executive Committee has approved the formation of both study groups.

Many thanks to Adam Healey for setting of the SG web sites listed below.

 

Both new groups will share the existing email reflector used by P802.3bq (NGBASET).   If you would like to follow the activities of the study groups, please follow the links below, or go directly to http://ieee802.org/3/NGBASET/reflector.html.

 

As mentioned during the 802.3 closing plenary, we will begin ad hoc activities soon in order to begin working on the project documentation.  Information will be sent to the reflector with conference call details.

Moments ago, the IEEE 802 EC approved the formation of the "Next Generation Enterprise Access BASE-T" and "25GBASE-T" Study Groups. Congratulations!

 

After consulting with David, I have set up Study Group web sites with the structure that I provided earlier.
