In order to help your editorial team deal with our triple meeting next week and get the draft in shape for the 802.3 closing plenary, we would like to attempt to pre-stage editorial work. The most effective way to do this is to pre-edit the “EZ” and “EZ-Check” buckets. As announced, we intend to approve these in a single motion at the meeting, and have asked that you review those items marked with topic “EZ” or “EZ-Check” (as well as those marked with ED-COORD), and, if you wish to consider any of them
separately, ask that they be removed from the bucket. It would be greatly appreciated if commenters could get responses to me by mid-day tomorrow, so that we can start pre-processing text for the next draft under the assumption that the remaining “EZ” bucket passes. If you wish to remove a comment from the EZ bucket, (say comment #123 in the example) simply send an email to the reflector stating: “Please remove comment #123 from the EZ bucket.” No further explanation is required, and I ask that no debate be offered – we will consider that comment separately. Thank you. -george George Zimmerman Principal, CME Consulting Experts in Advanced PHYsical Communications Technology george@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 310-920-3860 (PLEASE NOTE NEW EMAIL ADDRESS.
