Re: [802.3_NGBASET] IEEE P802.3bq Sponsor ballot
Task force participants - if you are intending to submit comments through the 'chairs standard offer' process below (that is, you have NOT signed up to be part of the Sponsor ballot group), please let me know to expect by sending me an email by end of day Monday. Additionally, I request you NOT wait until the last minute. Please try to email before 5PM Tuesday Pacific Time. (no, I am not changing the deadline, but I want to avoid problems) I will be traveling Wednesday and Thursday, and since the sponsor close is not AOE, but rather 11:59PM Eastern US time, I have limited availability to get your comments into the sponsor voting database.
Thank you for your consideration,
George Zimmerman

Subject: [802.3_NGBASET] IEEE P802.3bq Sponsor ballot
Dear Task Force Participants,
The initial Sponsor ballot has opened on IEEE P802.3bq/D3.0 with a ballot close date of Thursday 7th January 2016 23:59 ET.
If you have joined the Sponsor ballot group and are planning to comment further on the draft, please, follow the instructions provided on the myBallot portal <https://development.standards.ieee.org/my-site/home> under 'Balloting' -> 'myBallot Home' -> 'Manage myBallot Activity'.
If you did not join the Sponsor ballot group, but still would like to comment on the draft, it will save the task force officers significant effort if you would send your comments to George Zimmerman <george@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> for inclusion in the ballot by Tuesday 5th January 2016 AOE. Such comments will be identified in the comment field as coming from you, and like all comments from outside the ballot group will be non-binding. A web page containing the instructions on how to do this and the spreadsheet that you will need to use to enter your comments is available at <http://www.ieee802.org/3/WG_tools/non_voter_comment/index.html>.
Best Regards,
David Chalupsky
