[802.3_NGBASET] task force updates

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you all for a successful meeting for IEEE P802.3bz and P802.3bz.

Congratulations to IEEE P802.3bz for entering Working Group Ballot!  This was approved by 802.3 on Thursday evening.  The initial working group ballot 30-day time window will be announced soon by David Law, 802.3 Chair.  In the meantime, you may begin reviewing the draft (D2.0), which is posted to the bz private area.

 

Other updates:

·         Meeting minutes are posted on both TF meeting webpages.  The minutes are contained in a single file for both TFs; you only need to review one of them.

·         Task-force-approved outgoing liaison letters are posted on the respective meeting pages; two letters for bq, one for bz.

·         Final comment resolution files for both projects are posted on their respective draft comment pages.

·         The generation of P802.3bq D3.1 for Sponsor Ballot recirculation is in process.  Stay tuned for a recirculation announcement.
