IEEE 802.3 Next-generation 200 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s MMF PHYs Study Group

With the approval of the IEEE P802.3cm PAR on 14 May 2018, the IEEE 802.3 Next-generation 200 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s MMF PHYs Study Group has completed its charter and transitioned to the IEEE P802.3cm 400 Gb/s over Multimode Fiber Task Force. The IEEE P802.3cm Task Force home page is http://www.ieee802.org/3/cm/.

The IEEE 802 LMSC Executive Committee has chartered a Study Group under the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Working Group to develop a Project Authorization Request (PAR) and Criteria for Standards Development (CSD) responses for "Next-Generation 200 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s PHYs Over Fewer MMF Pairs Than in Existing Ethernet Projects and Standards".
