| Colleagues, Several people attending the OMEGA SG in Hawaii (Nov 2019) asked about the manufacturer of the VCSEL we presented test data on in our contributions. I was recently talking with people at TRUMPF, former Philips Photonics (Ulm, Germany), and they granted permission to identify them as the provider of the samples tested. These VCSELs are in production for data-center applications and are not specially designed for automotive applications. This reinforces the technology leveraging of components with scale economy. The contributions have been updated with this information and uploaded to the OMEGA site.
