Colleagues: The schedule for the various 802.3 interim meetings has just been posted to the meeting information page (http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/3/interims/). There are a number of links for additional information about the meeting to help make your trip easier. As you will see by following the "IEEE 802.3 schedule" link, the Multi Gigabit Automotive Optical PHY (OMEGA) study group will begin Monday morning, and we also meet Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. You will need to register with ITU for the meeting, please do this in advance to save time. If you do not already have a TIES or ITU user account (required to register), there is a link to “step-by-step instructions for creating an ITU account”. If you plan to stay for the joint ITU IEEE workshop, please also register for that. Also, for many of us the year-end holidays may become a distraction for completing certain tasks, so a gentle reminder... If you plan to present at the Study Group meeting, please send me a request. Instructions related to presenting may be found at: http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/3/OMEGA/public/presentproc.html. At the January meeting we will also be introducing you to new slides detailing the IEEE copyright policy. Presenters are requested to review these in advance. The slides are at: https://standards.ieee.org/ipr/index.html. Submission of a presentation implies acknowledgement that the presentation adheres to the IEEE copyright policy. I look forward to seeing you in Geneva! Robert M. (Bob) Grow Chair, IEEE 802.3 Multi Gigabit Automotive Optical PHY (OMEGA) Study Group
