[802.3_OMEGA] November plenary TF teleconferences
Colleagues,
This email is to announce the P802.3cz Task Force teleconferences to be held during the upcoming IEEE 802 and IEEE 802.3 virtual plenary sessions. We will meet 10 November, 17 November, and if needed 18 November. These are Task Force meetings where we can take motions to conduct business requiring formal TF motions. We are at the point were we should be considering and if appropriate adopting baseline presentations for inclusion in our draft. And begin task force review of that draft.
I encourage those of you that have been presenting to work with other participants to develop consensus on technical proposals and to work toward more complete proposals for the various rates and topologies outlined in our objectives, with proposals for all of the sublayers included in IEEE 802.3 PHY specifications. Presentations targeted to meeting our objectives are encouraged.
In addition to technical presentations, we will handle any liaison communications assigned to the TF or other appropriate business for a plenary session TF meeting.
Calendar .ics files are included (separate .ics of 10,17 November and 18 November). As usual, the IEEE 802.3 Call and Meeting Calendar (https://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html) includes these and other TF ad hoc teleconferences. As a plenary session, you may have interest in other IEEE 802 WG teleconferences or IEEE 802 level teleconferences. The IEEE 802 teleconference calendar can be found at https://www.ieee802.org/802tele_calendar.html, and selecting the IEEE 802 Only Calendar (not subgroups) link toward the bottom of the page will give you a view of Executive Committee, EC Standing Committee and similar teleconferences.
