All, During our 18 November IEEE 802.3cz meeting, I offered to work with other interested individuals to develop a consensus baseline proposal on the PMD and MDI specification
as well as develop a proposal for a set of tests that connectors may be required for the Automotive application (see P802.3cz ToDo list). As you will see on
that list, some individuals signed up during the meeting: Rick Pimpinella, Panduit Markus Dittmann, KDPOF Mabud Choudhury, OFS Masato Shiino, Furakawa Electric Davide Fortusini, Corning David Dawson-Elli, Corning Takashi Fukuoka,
AutoNetworks Technologies Ltd. If any others want to be part of this consensus baseline proposal effort, please feel free to contact me directly so I can add you to my distribution list I would like to have a kickoff meeting Tuesday, December 8 at 8am Eastern; I am working on 2 contributions for our next IEEE 802.3cz on December 15, one on the PMD
and MDI baseline and another on a proposed connector test suite that I would like to briefly introduce during this kickoff call. I understand that others may also have contributions.
