| Colleagues, I have had a number of discussions with both 802.3 WG members and P802.3cz TF members about preparation for the March plenary meeting, and items for consideration by the P802.3cz TF prior to that plenary meeting. 1. We will hold a 2 hour TF interim meeting 8 February 2022 as previously announced. While motions will be in order for this meeting, I have not received any notice from participants of any planned motions or straw polls for this interim meeting on the 8th. I expect our time will be largely consumed by technical presentations. 2. I am announcing that the planned interim meeting for 15 February will be extended into a two part interim meeting to allow sufficient time for discussion on a path forward and for TF actions via motions. I have scheduled an additional two hours for 22 February, for the second part of this meeting. I do know of plans for TF members to make one or more motions during this interim. Presentation requests for 15 February are due by Thursday, 10 February 2022. Any requests after that date will be treated as late presentations. At this point, I can’t promise if such a request will allow presentation on the 15th or if it will be delayed until the 22nd.
