[802.3_RTPGE] Call for Presentations - July Plenary Meeting Information
Colleagues,
The IEEE P802.3bp RTPGE Task Force will be meeting at the upcoming IEEE 802
Plenary meeting in Geneva, CH, Tuesday, July 16 through Thursday, July 18.
The 802.3 WG opening Plenary is Monday afternoon, and the closing Plenary is
Thursday afternoon. Registration and hotel information can be found via the

Contributions from the automotive industry that will allow us to close our
channel model work are solicited. Recall that we intend to complete the
automotive link segment and EMC work by the July plenary. We will also have
presentations outlining our next steps and an introduction to the
construction of the draft.
Presentations should be kept to 20 minutes in duration, excluding time for
questions and answers. Requests for presentation time greater than 20
minutes will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and the requester should
contact the chair prior to making the request to justify the additional
time.
Requests for presentation time must be made before the second Friday
preceding the meeting. For the July Plenary meeting, requests for
presentation time shall be made to the Chair at scarlson@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and
must be made by midnight AOE on July 5, 2013.
The presenter shall e-mail a PDF, soft-copy version of the presentation to
the Chair at scarlson@xxxxxxxxxxxxx by Tuesday of the week preceding the
meeting. For the July Plenary meeting, presentations must be submitted by
midnight AOE on July 9, 2013
Please make sure that all requests for presentations or submissions of
presentation material have no restrictive notices at the bottom of the
email. All such emails will be refused and requests / presentations will
not be acknowledged.

We would greatly appreciate presenters reviewing their own presentations to
verify that they have followed the cited Presentation Style Guidelines. If
there are questions related to relative cost discussion, please see the

Presentations that do not follow these guidelines will be rejected and will
be presented on a time-available basis.
As a reminder to the group, we are a contribution driven organization. It
should not be assumed by anyone that work will just get done without
contributions to drive it. Areas not moving forward will be brought to the
attention of the Task Force for consideration on how to address.
