[802.3_RTPGE] IEEE P802.3bp September Interim Meeting - Call for Presentations
Colleagues,
The IEEE P802.3bp RTPGE Task Force will be meeting at the upcoming IEEE
802.3/802.1 joint interim meeting in York, UK. We will be meeting Tuesday,
September 3rd, through Thursday, September 5th, 2013. Registration and
meeting details may be found at
http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html. You are strongly encouraged
to register and make your reservations as soon as possible. Three days have
been allocated to allow for careful consideration of baseline proposals and
ad hoc time if needed.
Baseline proposals for the automotive link segment and EMC requirements for
the draft are the focus of this session. Per our work plan from the July
plenary, the baselines will be developed in the channel and EMC ad hocs for
presentation, discussion and adoption in York. Please review the
presentation on baseline proposals by Marek Hajduczenia.
Presentations should be kept to 20 minutes in duration, excluding time for
questions and answers. Requests for presentation time greater than 20
minutes will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and the requester should
contact the chair prior to making the request to justify the additional
time.
Requests for presentation time must be made before the second Friday
preceding the meeting. For the September Interim meeting, requests for
presentation time shall be made to the Chair at scarlson@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and
must be made by midnight AOE on August 23rd, 2013.
The presenter shall e-mail a PDF, soft-copy version of the presentation to
the Chair at scarlson@xxxxxxxxxxxxx by Tuesday of the week preceding the
meeting. For the September Interim meeting, presentations must be submitted
by midnight AOE on August 277th, 2013
Please make sure that all requests for presentations or submissions of
presentation material have no restrictive notices at the bottom of the
email. All such emails will be refused and requests / presentations will
not be acknowledged.

We would greatly appreciate presenters reviewing their own presentations to
verify that they have followed the cited Presentation Style Guidelines. If

Presentations that do not follow these guidelines will be rejected and will
be presented on a time-available basis.
As a reminder to the group, we are a contribution driven organization. It
should not be assumed by anyone that work will just get done without
contributions to drive it. Areas not moving forward will be brought to the
attention of the Task Force for consideration on how to address.
