[802.3_RTPGE] Ethernet 40th Anniversary Celebration
Colleagues,
On Monday, November 11, from 7 to 9PM at the Hyatt Regency Reunion Tower in
Dallas, TX, the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Working Group will have a 40th.
anniversary celebration of Ethernet.
Ethernet inventors Dr. Robert Metcalfe and Dr. David Boggs, will join Ron
Crane of 3Com, and Thomas Hogenmüller of Robert Bosch GmbH and panel
moderator Steve Carlson to discuss how the lessons from Ethernet's past can
be applied to its future in new application areas such as vehicular
Ethernet.
I hope to see all of you there to celebrate 40 years of Ethernet innovation.
The event is open to the public. I thought you might want to let any
colleagues members in the greater Dallas area know about this.
