All – as editor, and just having come back from a short break, I wanted to remind you all that we have a review cycle open on draft 1.4 for 802.3da. So far, I have received one set of comments – those from your diligent Chair, the Chad,
or also known as prime Jones. We’ve got one week to go, and the review closes
Monday, 26 August 2024 11:59pm AOE.
To use our time efficiently at the interim, we intend to resolve as many comments as possible at an off-cycle interim on September 4, and to identify and make progress on issues
that need work for the September interim at that meeting – so PLEASE DON’T BE LATE with comments. We are also trying to prepare for working group ballot not later than November – so please keep an eye towards issues of technical completeness, including not only TBDs, but any
features that you feel need to be addressed in the draft.
If you wish to bounce something off me, please feel free to contact me directly; however, bouncing things off the whole group with the reflector is also a good idea too!
