[802.3_SPMD] IEEE P802.3da 10 Mb/s Single Pair Multidrop Segments Enhancement 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results



Dear Colleagues,

The 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3da 10 Mb/s Single Pair Multidrop Segments Enhancement closed successfully on 16th April 2025. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The May 2025 IEEE P802.3da Task Force interim meeting <
https://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 115 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3da Task Force reflector.

An additional comment was received after the ballot closed. This comment will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3da Task Force if, based on a vote, if necessary, there is no objection to doing so.


The ballot statistics are:

 239 Voters
 140 Approve
  10 Disapprove 
  36 Abstain
 186 Ballots returned

  77% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  19% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  93% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
