Dear Chad and all Just for clarification: The document was provided to show how information, formerly requested from PDCC, was used to write this standard about unmating connectors under electrical load.
Therefore, the document is more informative and a ‘Thank You’ to all who have contributed. As it is FDIS only editorial comments would be accepted and as no direct liaison exists to IEC SC48B it would be needed to go thru SC25/WG3 which makes it more complicated
as needed. But again, your help was highly appreciated. When we work together, we can close projects successfully. Best regards Von: Chad Jones (cmjones) <00000b60b3f54e8d-dmarc-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
All, the website has been updated with the results of yesterday’s meeting. I have posted minutes, please take a look and let me know if there are additions or modifications required. I’ve also posted two versions of the
draft liaison reply, one a mark up showing the changes made during the meeting , and the other with all changes accepted (the clean version). I will present this to the WG during the meeting on 14 September.
I received a new document to review after the meeting. The title:
Connectors for electrical and electronic equipment - Tests and measurements - Part 99-003: Endurance test schedules - Test 99c: Test schedule for balanced single-pair connectors separating (unmating) under electrical load. This can be found in the PDCC
