Dear members of NG-EPON IC, Attached please find a joint contribution from Bright House Network and Cogeco, focusing on the coexistence requirements for NG-EPON with 1G-EPON, 10G-EPON, as well as other non-digital systems on the same PON. A proposal for wavelength allocation is also made, suggesting to reuse most optimum SMF spectrum, while allowing for TDM/WDM coexistence with 1G-EPON and 10G-EPON. I would like to request a timeslot: 25 minutes (excluding Q&A) at the upcoming meeting to present this material. Regards |
