[802.3_NGEPON] Contributions for next NG-EPON IC meeting

Dear colleagues,

 

Attached please find a few contributions for the upcoming meeting in November:

 

·         hajduczenia_01_ngepon_1114.docx, adding a section on power budgets for NG-EPON

·         hajduczenia_02_ngepon_1114.docx, adding a section on ODN for NG-EPON

·         hajduczenia_03_ngepon_1114.docx, adding text into section 3 to address different deployment models (FTTx)

·         hajduczenia_04_ngepon_1114.docx, adding a section on power saving for NG-EPON

·         hajduczenia_05_ngepon_1114.docx, adding discussion on economic feasibility ,with the focus on 1G and 10G for now, but it is a start for discussion on where NG-EPON makes sense from economic perspective

·         hajduczenia_06_ngepon_1114.docx, with updates to section 4.2

 

Please let me know if there are any concerns / comments on the wording in the attached contributions.
