(not a good day for my editing skills
L). Thanks to the eagle eyed person who read and caught my copy/paste error (highlighted below) where I swapped the Monday and Wednesday start times. The previously scheduled next meetings were: Wednesday, September 28, 2016 7:00 AM-9:00 AM (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada). Monday, October 03, 2016 9:00 AM-11:00 AM (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada). During the physical meeting, we agreed to change these two to Monday, September 26, 2016

From: Peter Jones (petejone) Hi Folks, Cancellations (to both lists) and new invites (to 10spe only) have now been sent out. Unfortunately the first version of the “Monday Series” I sent out was sent from the wrong time zone (CT vs PT)
L, and so I have sent out an update for “Monday Series” to correct that and also sent out the “Wednesday Series”. Regards Peter _________________________________________________

From: Peter Jones (petejone) Hi Folks, Regarding AdHoc scheduling.
Wednesday, October 05, 2016 9:00 AM-11:00 AM (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada). I think what I will do is just delete the current series, and recreate new ones based on the new start dates. Please look out for both the cancellation of the current series, and the
new meetings. I will send out invites to
STDS-802-3-10SPE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I will no longer copy invites to
STDS-802-3-NGECDC@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. If you are interested on following this project, please join the
STDS-802-3-10SPE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx reflector. Regards Peter _________________________________________________

Thank you all for a hard-working and productive 2 day meeting. I have updated the website with all the revised presentations, files of motions, our adopted PAR, CSDs and Objectives.
I believe the only remaining file to post is the unconfirmed minutes, which are still in preparation. (Thank you Jon!) If you think I missed something, please send me a note. Also, please keep an eye out for the ad hoc details. The meeting date is set for Monday, September 26, 2016 at 9AM pacific time. We are in a good position to get our CSDs and PAR presubmitted, but still need to finish adopting our objectives, and, if necessary, perform any fine tuning on our PAR and CSDs in November. I suggest we focus contributions and discussion in our ad hocs on further supporting our CSDs, including more technical feasibility presentations, and working on consensus of ideas and consensus language for our objectives. We need to
adopt a full set of objectives in November, and the work will go much better if we already have substantial consensus built not just around the ideas but around the wording. Newer objectives and ideas need to be supported more through presentation to gain
consensus. Thank you again for a productive meeting. We’re off to a fast start. -george George A. Zimmerman, Ph.D. Chair, IEEE 802.3 10 Mbps Single Pair Ethernet Study Group President & Principal Consultant CME Consulting, Inc. Experts in PHYsical Layer Communications 1-310-920-3860 |
