As announced at last week’s NEA Opening Report to IEEE 802.3, there will be an ad hoc call next Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 10am to noon ET.

• Topic: Lower cost, short-reach, optical interconnects based on 100 Gb/s wavelengths
• Description: To seek inputs for a CFI presentation aimed at high volume, short-reach applications, such as 100 Gb/s server-attachment beyond-the-rack, where compact cabling and lower cost & power transceivers are beneficial.
