Colleagues: The IEEE 802.3 New Ethernet Applications (NEA) Ad hoc will meet during the IEEE 802.3 Jan 2025 Interim meeting series on Monday Jan 20 from 7 to 9pm. The meeting will be face-to-face with remote access provided on best effort basis. Please note that registration
and payment of registration fee will be required to attend, either F2F or remotely. Mr. D’Ambrosia has requested time to discuss initiation of an assessment to explore Ethernet electrical and optical interconnects based on greater than 200 Gb/s lane rates to address next generation AI applications. This assessment will be inclusive of
AI front-end, scale-up, and scale-out networks. Individuals interested in Mr. D’Ambrosia’s topic are encouraged to contact him directly. The meeting information will be placed on the 802.3 Call and Meeting calendar in the next week. Cheers Jon Lewis | IEEE 802.3
