This email is to announce that there will be an electronic meeting of the IEEE 802.3 NEA Ad hoc for the “Ethernet Interconnect for AI” Assessment on 27 Feb 2025 from 10am to 1pm ET.
The draft agenda for the call includes –
1. John D’Ambrosia (Futurewei, U.S. Subsidiary of Huawei) - Agenda & General Information
2. Alan Weckel (650 Group) – “AI Networking: What do scaleup and scaleout really mean for networking demand”
3. David Law (HPE) / David Ofelt (Juniper) – “Techniques for extending the MAC and Physical Layer with new services”
4. John Johnson (Broadcom) – “400 Gbps Optical Transmission Simulations”
Meeting information will be sent out to the NEA and Dialog reflectors and will be posted to the 802.3 Calendar and the Assessment public webpage (https://www.ieee802.org/3/ad_hoc/E4AI/public/index.html).
As a reminder, all meeting participants should review the following documents prior to participation in an interim meeting teleconference:

The reflector for this assessment is currently being put into place. As soon as it is available, I will send an email to the NEA and Dialog Reflectors for individuals to subscribe.
