The announced straw poll results below are incorrect – as it reflects total voters as opposed to just voters who voted “yes”.

The correct results for the second straw poll are:

·       Will participate = 51

·       Number of affiliations = 36

My thanks to Mabud for catching that there was an issue.

I met with David Law after today’s IEEE 802.3 NEA Meeting, and we reviewed the results of the straw poll taken.

The second straw poll read –

If formed, will you participate in this Study Group?

The results are 65 individuals from 41 different affiliations responded yes.

These results will be entered into today’s meeting minutes and presented by Mabud Choudhury at the IEEE 802.3 July 2025 Closing Plenary.
