[10GBASE-CX4] February Interim Materials on the Website
Hello All;
Due to the extreme weather conditions on the East Coast, we had to work with
a smaller than normal crowd, but with perseverance, were able to complete
our
agenda.
Not only did we review all PAR, objectives and Criteria documents, but we
also
did a complete run through the working paper (version 3.0) and were able to
move
forward with a new version which will be made public in a few days after the
editor
has an opportunity to finalize all changes.
Our approach in January of forming two teams to work out the critical
parameters
was a great success in that both groups were able to focus their efforts and
get
us the information we needed to justify our specification.

I will be sending out a notice when we complete version 3.1 of the working
paper
and it is ready for broad review.
Thanks to those who have contributed to this effort and I look forward to
seeing you
in Dallas during the March Plenary. We will want to have strong
participation from all
of the members in this group at that meeting as some critical decisions will
be made
by the working group and your representation within that body will be
helpful. Please
plan your travel to include Monday AM through Thursday PM.
