Dear Colleagues,

We have a 100G-EPON (IEEE 802.3ca) consensus building meeting scheduled for this Thursday, June 22, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm MDT.

We definitely have two agenda items to discuss:

  • Simulations on 25-Gb/s NRZ Transmission at 1358nm without and with Receiver-Side Equalization (F. Effenberger)
  • Wavelength Plan Options (F. Effenberger)

We had a few other potential contributions; if the following authors would kindly let me know the status of their contributions, I’d appreciate it:

      • Glen: Follow up on Glen’s suggestion for 2 wavelength plans (greenfield, brownfield)(John Johnson, Ed Harstead)
      • Earl: Contribution expected on SOA preamp/dynamic range
      • Hanhyub: Contribution expected on SOA preamp/dynamic range
      • Mark: Address concerns voiced during F2F meeting around FEC

Please let me know by 5:00 pm MDT Wednesday if you have any topics for the agenda.

Thank you,

Curtis
