[802.3_CU4HDD] [IEEE 802.3 CU4HDD] - Task Focus focus for January

CU4HDD Task Force:

Because of last minute formatting issues, Draft 2.1 will not be going out tomorrow for WGB recirculation. We had sincerely hoped that we would be done today. Because of some last minute formatting issues, that could not be readily solved in Framemaker, we will delay the recirculation until after the January Interim in Huntington Beach, California.

This means that our business at the F2F Task Force meeting on 1/12 and 1/13 will change focus. It will now become a page turning, Draft 2.1 review. Anything found in that review will be used to fine-tune the draft in anticipation of going to recirculation after several weeks.

Sorry for the unanticipated delay.

You can find the current working copy of Draft 2.1 on our Private page. It is not finished, but all of the WGB comment resolution and some late comments, plus Task Force editorial work is contain therein. Please review it when you get a chance. The final copy of that will come out of the meeting in January.

We will not have any further Ad Hoc calls leading up to the January Interim meetings.
