[802.3_50G] P802.3cd 50 Gb/s, 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s Ethernet Task Force September Interim meeting announcement and call for presentations

Dear Colleagues, 

This is a meeting announcement for the  P802.3cd 50 Gb/s, 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s Ethernet Task Force.  The meetings will be held during the  802.3 Interim meeting week in Fort Worth, TX  the week of Sept 12th-16th

The P802.3cd Task Force will be meeting on  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of that week.  The start time on Wednesday 14th, will be no later than 1pm but will start immediately after the P802.3bs TF concludes its work.

We made great progress in our TF meetings in May & July with many of our baselines already adopted.  We have a few remaining areas to do similar and further work to refine and improve on the baselines we've already adopted. The focus of the meeting will be to continue that work.  As discussed in July, some baseline proposals may require an updated CSD to be adopted too and I want to be sure that is clear.  The editorial team is working towards generating D1.0 out of the September meeting.  Clearly there is a lot of work ahead for the TF, so, as usual, I encourage the use of the ad hoc meeting times 

Contributions are expected to be focused on these baseline proposals or refining the currently adopted baselines.

Requests for presentation time shall be made to me at mnowell@xxxxxxxxx  and must be made by Friday, Sept 2nd, 2016.  The presenter shall e-mail a PDF, soft-copy  by Tuesday of the following week  (Tues Sept 6th, 2016).
