Hi,

David Law has announced the D2.2 recirculation ballot results.  We will be focusing on resolving these comments at November’s plenary meeting.

Thanks to all who took time to review the document and participated in the ballot.

    The 2nd IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3cd 50 Gb/s, 100 Gb/s, and 200 Gb/s Ethernet closed successfully on 11th October 2017. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The November 2017 IEEE P802.3cd Task Force plenary week meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 31 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3cd Task Force reflector.
     
    The ballot statistics are:
     
    201 Voters
    136 Approve
       3 Disapprove 
      13 Abstain
    152 Ballots returned
     
    75% Response Rate (> 50% required)
     9% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
    97% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
