Correct Beth,

 

As verbally announced at the .3 WG meeting last Thursday, we were considering whether we wanted to do a Sunday interim to help us get through the work.  We’ve since decided that we will not set up a .3cd meeting on Sunday evening and focus on using the Mon/Tues meeting times with dual tracks to get through the comment resolution.    I should have clarified that below.  Per the meeting announcement below, we will meet all day Monday and Tuesday starting @ 8am.  We might need to push into Mon evening depending on our progress.

 

We have 4 ad hocs meetings before the Plenary so I’m hoping we can get a lot of pre-work consensus building happening in there to speed us up in March.

Dear Colleagues, 

 

This is a meeting announcement for the P802.3cd 50 Gb/s, 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s Ethernet Task Force.  The meetings will be held during the 802.3 Plenary meeting week in Rosemont, IL, the week of May 4^th- 9th, 2018

The P802.3cd Task Force will be meeting on the full day Monday March 5^th (starting @ 8am ahead on the WG plenary meeting) and full day Tuesday March 6th.  Officially the Mon 8-10am meeting starting before the WG plenary will be considered a special interim meeting and this announcement covers both meetings announcements.

 

We expect to have tracks available for optical/electrical again to help us get through the work

  

As a reminder, the 802.3cd Sponsor ballot recirculation of D3.1 is will be opening soon.  Details will be announced.  We will be focusing on resolving the received comments during the plenary meetings. Any submitted presentations are expected to be focused on supporting associated comments into the ballot.

 

Requests for presentation time shall be made to me at mnowell@xxxxxxxxx  and must be made by EOD Friday, Feb 23rd 2018.  The presenter shall e-mail a PDF, soft-copy by Tues Feb 27th, 2018.
