[802.3_10SPE] IEEE P802.3cg 10 Mb/s Single Pair Ethernet 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results
Dear Colleagues,
The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3cg 10 Mb/s Single Pair Ethernet closed successfully on 26th October 2018. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The November 2018 IEEE P802.3cg Task Force plenary week meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 477 comments (455 associated with votes) submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3cg Task Force reflector.
An additional 17 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3cg Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.
The ballot statistics are:
249 Voters
115 Approve
20 Disapprove
15 Abstain
150 Ballots returned
60% Response Rate (> 50% required)
10% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
85% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
