[802.3_10SPE] Liaison from ISO/IEC SC25 WG3

All – I would like to advise you that IEEE 802.3 has received a liaison from ISO/IEC SC25 WG3, and that David Law has asked 802.3cg to review it and recommend a response, if necessary for the working group to consider.  The liaison letter may be found at http://www.ieee802.org/3/minutes/sep19/incoming/SC25_N1224_to_IEEE_802d3_SPE.pdf .

The liaison communicates a draft of IEC TR 11801-9906 ED1, which may be found, protected by the 802.3 working group password, at http://www.ieee802.org/3/private/liaison_docs/IEC/SC25_N1224_to_IEEE_802d3_SPE_att.pdf

You may wish to review the draft in advance of the meeting, especially because we have received (rogue) comments asking that this document be referred to in the 802.3cg amendment.
