All – the fourth recirculation of the 802.3cg SA ballot closed last night. An official email with ballot results will go out early next week, but there were no new negative votes on the ballot, and 3 comments. The comments received are now posted in the “comments” area of the 802.3cg website, at
http://www.ieee802.org/3/cg/comments/802.3cg_draft3p4_Received_By%20Comment%20ID.pdf
One comment was the ‘draft meets all editorial requirements’ comment from an individual affiliated with IEEE-SA editorial. The other two comments were from a commenter already having a disapprove vote and, according to the commenter’s description, related to previous unsatisfied comments from himself. The editorial staff is preparing proposed responses, and these should be posted before Monday. The CRG will meet telephonically to respond to these comments, as announced previously, on Wednesday October 14, from 7AM to 9AM Pacific time. As per 802.3 Working Group Operations Manual http://www.ieee802.org/3/rules/index.html , individuals who are 802.3 voters may vote in the meeting.
Registration for the meeting is required to properly size the teleconference. To register, please send an email to George Zimmerman. Registration closes on Wednesday, 9 October 2019. After sizing the meeting, I will provide the teleconference credentials to the registered attendees.
