[802.3_DWDM] IEEE P802.3cw Optical Crosstalk Ad hoc

All,

As discussed at  yesterday’s joint TF Call I am rechartering the Optical Crosstalk Ad hoc, as its initial charter was to deliver a proposal for the Dec 14 meeting.

 

Therefore, I am re-chartering the Optical Crosstalk Ad hoc with the scope to address the following –

  • Propose normative approach to specifying optical crosstalk at TP2 / TP3 for the Black Link Methodology
  • Identify additional informative annex (es)
  • Provide input on terminology related to specifying optical crosstalk where appropriate

 

Given the depth of the problem, I will ask the ad hoc to provide an update on its progress at each 802.3cw TF call.
