At today’s IEEE P802.3cw meeting the following proposal was considered by the Task Force:
· Slides 8 -14 of https://www.ieee802.org/3/cw/public/22_10/dambrosia_3cw_01b_221018.pdf denote comments in the “Rewrite” bucket. It was noted that additional comments may be added to the “Rewrite” bucket during comment consideration on 18 Oct 2022.
· Per the presentation proposal – Comment #346 would be the “master” comment that other comments in the “Rewrite” bucket point to for response.
· Individuals can request to pull comments out of “Rewrite” bucket by 12pm ET 19 Oct 2022 via email to the Chair and Chief Editor.
· The Task Force would consider adopting response for comments remaining in “Rewrite” bucket via motion at end of meeting 19 Oct 2022.
The Task Force had no objections to the proposal.
Please note that the “Rewrite” bucket including comments added by the CRG, is summarized in https://www.ieee802.org/3/cw/public/22_10/rewritebucket_3cw_2210.pdf. Please note that the proposed remedies to these comments are also included in this presentation, and have not been added to the proposed comments yet, due to the limited time available.
As noted above individuals have until 12 pm tomorrow (19 Oct 2022) to review the comments that have been added to the “Rewrite” bucket to request that they be withdrawn for CRG Discussion.
Upon review of the “Bucket” list, people will note that a lot of comments have been added. Given the anticipated changes to D2.0, during the first WG Ballot recirculation, the next draft (2.1) will be in scope for comment, and that a minimum of 30 days for review will be scheduled.
