Dear Colleagues,

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot of the amendment IEEE
P802.3cw 400 Gb/s over DWDM Systems closed successfully on 14th April 2023.
The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The
May 2023 IEEE P802.3cw Task Force interim meetings
<http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will begin considering the
290 comments submitted and determining changes to the draft as appropriate.
The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the
IEEE P802.3cw Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 224 Voters
 130 Approve
  12 Disapprove 
  17 Abstain
 159 Ballots returned

  70% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  10% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  91% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
