Dear 802.3cu Task Force Members, On today’s Ad Hoc call, we will be discussing alternatives to how best to enter the values of a linear equation in specification tables.
This pertains to Tx OMA and RS specs. To see what the world does, I typed in “linear equation values in specification table” into Google Images. This is what comes up: As we can see, the world represents linear equations by entering the SLOPE and INTERCEPT values into the table.
